ABOUT ME

My name is Jada Elizabeth Moraca (JEM). I grew up in Sister Lakes, MI and relocated to Kalamazoo for family and work. I'm a Dowagiac Union High School graduate, and former Commercial Design student at the Van Buren Technology Center.
I've worked as a behavior tech for kids with developmental disabilities, and make multimedia art/music on the side.
At 23 years old, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease (autoimmune gluten intolerance). Life as I knew it had been working against all the complications until then, I'm finally feeling more capable of engaging in my favorite hobbies again while earning my Associate's of Science at KVCC on a full-time schedule.
Despite a few surprises, I plan to continue helping others in my own efforts to pursue higher education in environmental engineering while maintaining my health within a supportive community.
